# Production: Stage-wise pharma production, from plan to FG store

> Versioned BOMs, MRP and yield gates per stage.

Pharma batch production in stages: stage routes per dosage form, versioned bulk and pack BOMs, material resource planning, manufacturing and packing orders, in-process QA between stages and FG QA at the end.

## Capabilities

- **Stage definitions**: Routes per material type (tablet, syrup, injection…) with manufacturing and packing stages; QC-required flag, minimum yield %, machine hours, manpower and labour hours per stage.
- **Product profiler (BOM)**: Separate bulk and pack versions, several active versions, the version locked on the order, mapped to the business units that use it.
- **Material Resource Planning**: Plan by finished product; the MRP report weighs in-hand, open MO/PO, demand and QC-pending stock to give the net requirement.
- **Manufacturing & packing orders**: Each order carries its batch and BOM version; packing orders handle pack ↔ unit conversion.
- **Stage processing**: Partial quantities, automatic yield %, a minimum-yield gate and machine, manpower and labour hours captured per stage.
- **Requisition from the BOM**: Material requests generated from the BOM version on the order.
- **FG receiving & release**: Finished-goods receiving → FG QA → FG store, with partial releases and a production voucher.
