# Inventory & Warehouse: Batch, expiry, assay and FEFO on every movement

Multi-unit, multi-store stock control with batch, expiry and assay carried on every movement, earliest-expiry-first allocation, and a document chain you can trace from demand to issue.

## Capabilities

- **Store → rack → shelf**: Stock held per business unit and store, with rack and shelf masters.
- **Pharma item master**: Batched item, shelf life, near-expiry days, sample %, label claim, drug registration number, date and renewal, schedule, and min/max/reorder levels. Each field can be shown or hidden.
- **FEFO batch picking**: The batch picker sorts by expiry; Material Issue and Delivery Challan allocate the earliest-expiring batch first.
- **Assay-adjusted issue**: Assay % captured at QC travels with the batch; Material Issue grosses up the quantity (required × 100 ÷ assay %).
- **Transfers**: Between business units (STR → STN with receipt) and between stores.
- **Adjustments & write-offs**: Stock Adjustment with import, Issue Return Note, and a Destruction Note for expired stock that posts its voucher.

1. Material request (MIR)
2. Material issue (FEFO + assay)
3. Issue return note
4. Transfer request (STR)
5. Transfer note (STN)
6. Receipt

## Controls the system enforces

- Issues and challans allocate the earliest-expiring batch automatically
- Issue quantity is grossed up by the batch's assay %
- Expired stock is written off on a note that posts its own voucher
