# Costing & Profitability: Batch material cost and margin you can act on

Material-cost batch costing, estimated against actual, and margins by product, invoice and brand, from the same live data that runs production and sales.

## Capabilities

- **Product Cost Sheet**: Estimated batch cost from the BOM version × last purchase rates, per raw and packing material line, in total and per pack.
- **Batch-wise cost**: Actual material cost per production batch, from the material actually issued.
- **Product yield**: Theoretical against actual yield by product and batch.
- **FG cost on release**: FG QA posts finished goods at actual material-issue cost ÷ released quantity.
- **Margin by invoice and brand**: Net sales, cost and profit % on every invoice, with a date-wise summary and running profit.
- **Product-wise profit**: Sales against cost of goods sold, per product.
- **Month-wise P&L**: Month-on-month profit and loss, including cost of goods sold.
- **Stock valuation**: Inventory valued by store and batch at average or last purchase price.
